Yes! Just send over examples of channels, videos, brands that you’d like to take inspiration from.

I’m also used to following brand guidelines for some of our bigger corporate and enterprise clients.

We develop our own internal brand and style guidelines the longer we work together.

Taking notes of all your likes and dislikes.

“How quick is the turnaround time for a project?”

It takes about a week for more advanced edits. This allows us to do the best job possible.

You’ll get V1 after 3-4 business days.

Revisions take 1-2 business days per round depending on the complexity.

“What if I need adjustments and revisions?”

Revisions are a normal part of the creative process.

We use Frame.io to deliver our files, which allows you to comment with feedback as you watch.

It automatically timestamps the exact frame for you so you don’t need to type it out twice.

There’s up to 3 rounds of revisions included for each video.

All of your notes and preferences are studied internally within our teams for each project.

We use this feedback to improve speed and quality.

“Do you help with filming or getting equipment setup?”

We do offer support for filming remotely, studio design, and equipment setup. This is included in all of our plans. It’s actually how I got my start when I started Pod Mahal.

Helping non-technical people feel confident with using their equipment.

“Do you design thumbnails too?”

Yes we have specialized thumbnail designers for members on our PUBLISH and PROMOTE plans.

“Do you help with titles and SEO?”

Yes! We write SEO optimized titles without sounding like ChatGPT’s grandma.

“Do you edit short form videos for social too?”

Yes! We have a lot of experience with working on short form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and X.

This is available exclusively to members on our PROMOTE plan.

Or as an add-on to members of the EDIT and PUBLISH plan.

If you’re interested in purchasing a plan that includes only short form clips, we require 20 short form clips per month as a minimum.

“How do I know if I’m filming the right content?”

During your onboarding and strategy analysis, we reverse engineer from your most desired KPI.

We understand the importance of your YouTube and podcast content fitting into the rest of your funnel.

Over the years, we’ve found that if we help clients during pre-production, their videos turn out WAY better.

By investing this time and providing support, we can ensure that your energy and effort is being spent on the highest ROI videos.

“How long does it take grow on YouTube?”

In today’s day and age, growth can happen quicker than we think.

We helped a client go from a few thousand subs to 100k subscribers in 57 days.

But it’s more typical to expect 24-36 months of consistent output.

Or an easier way to think about it is publishing at least 100 videos.

“Do you help monitor metrics and performance?”

Absolutely. We track and measure:

  • click thru rates

  • conversion rates

  • link clicks (from description)

  • average view duration

  • average percentage watched

  • retention graphs

  • email subscribers

  • YouTube subscribers

  • podcast downloads

  • meetings booked

  • comments and messages

The most important metric we aim to improve is growing your revenue per view.

“How does payment and billing work?”

You’re billed on autopay through Stripe every month on the same day.

So if you signed up on the 18th, your payment method on file will be billed monthly on that date.

The term of the commitment is 3 or 6 months depending on which plan you go with.

Your plan will continue to auto renew until you decide to cancel.

“Can we hop on a call to chat?”

I’d love to. We have same day or next day appointments available between 10-6pm M-F.

“How soon can I get started?”

Yesterday.

Once you choose your plan and chat with us, we can begin working on your first video within 24 hours after you handoff your footage.

“How do I handoff my raw files / footage to you?”

Google Drive or Dropbox works wonderfully. Any notes for the brief can be emailed, written in a doc, or submitted on our Notion Content Handoff Board.

“How much time do I need to invest per week on my end?”

A rough estimate of what I’ve seen clients save is 15-40 hours per week. The level of involvement on our end depends on which plan you choose.

On your end, you can expect to invest only about 5-10 hours per week.

I’d plan to keep this cadence 80% of the time over 2-5 years.

The speed of growth really comes down to removing bottlenecks as fast as possible. With either money or time.

About Pod Mahal

After studying Kinesiology at West Chester University, I spent 10+ years as an international fitness professional training SWAT team, athletes and Fortune 100 executives.

In 2017, I packed my bags for a Bay Area startup, where I produced several top-rated podcasts in the health space with more than 1m+ listens.

Then, in September 2020, I went all in on my digital production company, Pod Mahal.
