When I started podcasting in 2016, I couldn’t afford Done-For-You services, and even if I won the lottery, I didn’t want to rely on someone else.

I wanted to own my means of production.

After building a home studio, (at the time, in my shoebox-sized bedroom) I loved the freedom to record and publish my ideas at a moment’s notice.

Within a year, my podcast helped me land my dream job at a startup in the Bay Area training executives, SWAT team, stunt actors, and professional athletes from all over the world.

There, I also produced and co-hosted Look Good Move Well with Marcus Filly that went on to do over 1M downloads.

But back then in my bedroom, I spent many nights wishing I could soundboard with someone who “gets it”.

That’s why I’ve poured nearly a decade learning everything I could about podcasting workflows.
